A 60-minute film, shot in 4k, documents a year in the life of South Africa’s national bird, The Blue Crane. While showcasing the natural behaviour, from the first flirtation to the flight of their young, it shows how the population adapted to an artificial environment, farmland in the Western Cape, and remarkably turned from the brink of extinction.
